Great alternative

This grip is surprisingly sturdy for being all plastic. The elastic band on it keeps it in your control with a feisty fish and the locking lip on it allows you to double it as a clip anchor. Try clipping it to a tree branch! Works great.

I use mine mostly for grabbing big catfish jaws. They work great and haven't had a problem with it in over three years. Fantastic product.... and it floats!

This fish gripper is awesome. i was able to land the fish and then keep it in the water with the wrist cord while i paddled to the bank to meet my wife who had the camera to take some pics. it also allowed me to aid in helping the fish gain its strength back. i would recommend this to anybody. dont leave home with out it.
