With kayak fishing gaining so much popularity these days we decided to focus on building a seat just for the angler. The GTS Pro was developed primarily with the kayak fisherman in mind. Its enhanced features like the oversized bottom pad accommodate the larger seat wells that are common on many of the new fishing kayaks. The 2'' extra thick thermoformed EVA foam padding that we added to the bottom section of the seat minimizes leg fatigue and helps the angler maintain comfort throughout a long day of fishing. We made the thermoformed foam upper back rest portion a little shorter than the GTS Elite and the Air Wave without sacrificing any support, for the sole purpose enhancing the paddler's access to the rear of a kayak's tank well and hatch section. Its enhanced features like the oversized bottom pad accommodate the larger seat wells that are common on many of the new fishing kayaks. We have enhanced the seat attachment system by spreading apart the rear webbing tie downs. This helps the seat fit into a larger variety of kayaks from shallow seat wells to deep seat wells. It also eliminates the possibility of the seat slipping forward or back and coming out of adjustment. The versatile GTS Pro, lets you leave the poles at home so you can remove the fishing pack and replace it with any of the other universal accessory packs that we offer. The GTS Pro, like all of the kayak seats in the GTS series, utilizes the same component pack system as the other GTS seats; standard pack, fishing pack and waterproof dry bag pack.

This model comes with a generously sized detachable zipper pack with two solid plastic molded fishing rod holders incorporated into it. The rod holders have built-in fishing rod securing straps that easily wrap around your pole and Velcro down providing painless access while giving the paddler piece of mind in knowing the rod is safe. However, it''s always a good idea to back this up with on of our fishing rod leashes to ensure our pole stays with you. If you are looking for the best seat for kayak fishing than this is it- the GTS Pro.

awesome seat!

Just upgraded to this seat. Normally I would have to stretch and bend my legs every so often due to cramping and fatigue. No more ... legs didn't fall asleep no butt pain... go this seat it will make you time on the water so much more enjoyable!

If you plan on spending a lot of time in the yak, you need a comfy seat. I bought this seat about a year ago and can't imagine going back to the original. I highly recommend this seat. I like the lower back so I can reach behind me easily to access my equipment.
