Bought 2 of these for my manta ray, it allows me to lower the angle of the rods when paddling thru wooded area's or flaring them out for trolling. Fits great.

I purchased this to go into the flush mount on my Ocean Kayak Trident 11 so that I can put a Scotty mount on it and lay my rod horizontally so I can keep the rod from hitting trees in the vertical positon. I did find that it isn't very tight in the flush mount so I secured it with a velcro strap and it works great. Tight lines, Joe
