Rod Holders
| Rod Holders; The first thing you need is something to hold your rods. Where you place them is important. When placing rod holders on your kayak for trolling or storage they need to be in a spot that is easy to reach and out of your paddle stroke. Think about when you are casting and will your extra rods be in the way. The best way to figure out what will work for you is to take your kayak out for a paddle and look to see where your paddle stroke goes. Reach to the front of the kayak and try turning to reach the back over your right side and then left side to see what is the most comfortable. This will help you find the best areas on your kayak to mount a rod holder. With all kinds of different rod holders and mounts you can almost do anything you want. |
