RAM Tube Composite

I purchased a new Tarpon 100 and decided not to buy the fishing model and outfit it myself. I was looking for a different style of rod holder for right behind the seat. I really don't like the std type flush mounts as they keep rods a little more vertical than I like...especially when I am ducking limbs or brush on some of the small rivers I fish. (I have damaged and lost a rod or two because of my sometimes poor planning) The Ram tube allows me to quickly adjust the rods to a more reclined position and with a small bungee attacked with the provided holes I will be surprised if I ever have a problem again. RAM makes a quality product! A plus is that the extended height also keeps your reel a lot drier ...which will be very beneficial when I am paddling around the Outer Banks later this month.

I have two of these and rigged them to the back of my RIDE 135 seat. I use them in the verticle position after lying the backrest of the seat down. This makes it so that I can stand and not have to reach for my poles while sight fishing. RAM makes a great product no mater what its used for, you cannot go wrong with RAM.

I have had two of these rod holders for 2 years and love them. I have had them on both a SINK (Trophy Beach) and SOT (Tarpon 120) and they work both on great. The light material combined with the ball mount attachment make them a lightweight and adjustable rod holder. I can easily adjust them when going under low branches. Only negative is that I wish they would come off the ball mount easier, but that's minor. Great product
