Perfect for the Cuda 250 S/Map!

After researching a variety of options for mounting my Eagle Cuda 250, I settled on this unit, despite already having Scotty mounts on my 'yak. The reason? First, it fits the base of the Eagle Cuda 250 perfectly, so there is no fabrication required to adapt the mount to the Cuda 250 (unlike the Scotty mount). Second, I REALLY like the infinite adjustability of the RAM unit - it allows you to position the FF screen EXACTLY where you want it - up, down, rotation, even side-to-side. With the Scotty mount, you are limited only to rotation, and only within the fixed stops inside the mount, which either put the FF facing straight back, or too far to my left - with the RAM, I am able to position it so that it faces me directly, and I can tilt it up or down easily to avoid sun glare - also not possible with the Scotty mount). When you order it, make sure to get the Ram fastener kit - the Scotty hardware is too big. Also, don't forget hardware for mounting your FF to the RAM - in the case of the Eagle Cuda 250, this means three stainless machine screws with washers and nuts. (Not sure if they are available from Hook1)
