The Liberator is a totally independent fishing electronics mounting platform. It was designed to keep your electronic components together, making them easy to add or remove from your kayak, freeing them to be moved from boat to boat. You no longer have to drill holes in your boat to run wires, or glue your transducers permanently to the inside of your boat's hull.

The Mini Liberator has a mounting platform measuring 3" x 6" and Mad Frog Gear's exclusive Transducer Deployment Arm (TDA). It's unique design holds both your electronic unit and battery. The mounting platform is predrilled to match with the Scotty Fishfinder Post Bracket.

The TDA measures 16" in length with an upper arm length of 12" to swing to the side of your boat. This 16" arm holds your transducer in place in the water and can be raised and lowered with ease.

This platform can be mounted with Scotty or Ram products and therefore be easily removeable.

Switched from the liberator to the micro to get a smaller footprint on the trax of the Commander 140. Awesome product, small and compact, and can take my unit off the boat at the end of the day. Would give this a rating of 4.75....the cost is the only drawback, but the included thumb screws over the original torque bolts make me want to give it 5. On a side, Hook 1 has second to none customer service. When I buy, I buy Hook 1.

Micro Liberator where have you been all my life!

This product makes using your fish finder so much easier to deploy that I would be lost with out it. It easily attaches to my WS Trax system and I even modified my Old Town 119 rail to accept the liberator. Once you have one you won't leave home with out it!
