Deck Fitting - Bungee Block

This deck fitting is typically used to splice or tie a line together. It is used to connect the rope that loops a rudder together. The line is fed in through the small hole, a knot is tied and then pulled tight back into the fitting. Then run the cable to the rudder and back up to the cockpit. Feed the line through the fitting and tie it off. It makes for a nice fitting to grab onto when pulling rudder hauling.
